Named in honour of Asquith McAlvin "Hatchman" Power, our brand celebrates a legacy of hard work, integrity, and pride in creating things properly. Those values continue to guide every product we make.
We craft small-batch cheeses using traditional techniques, quality local milk, and carefully selected ingredients. Alongside classic styles, we embrace Caribbean flavours to create products that are both familiar and distinctly Barbadian.
As our vision expanded, so did our craft. Our passion for traditional food preservation led to the creation of Blackstrap by Hatchman's—our artisan charcuterie collection inspired by the rich history of Caribbean sugar, smoke, spice, and time-honoured curing methods. Together, Hatchman's cheeses and Blackstrap meats celebrate the art of pairing exceptional dairy and handcrafted charcuterie.

Blackstrap by Hatchmans brings the art of traditional charcuterie to Barbados. Inspired by the island's sugar heritage and crafted with the richness of blackstrap molasses, our small-batch cured meats combine time-honoured techniques with distinctive Caribbean character. From chorizo and lomo to pancetta and bresaola, every product is carefully cured, naturally aged, and crafted with purpose.

Crafted in small batches from fresh local milk, Hatchman's artisan yogurts are naturally cultured to deliver a smooth, creamy texture and a clean, balanced flavour. Made with either rich cow's milk or premium goat's milk, each yogurt is carefully fermented to preserve the character of the milk while providing a wholesome source of protein, calcium, and beneficial live cultures.
